Breaking News:  XYZ Large Corporation Just Got Hit with a Cyber Attack!!”

“Millions of Dollars Paid in Ransom!!”

“ALL Company Data Encrypted!! Company Shut Down for Weeks!!”

We have all heard a few stories like this, but hundreds of small- to-medium sized businesses get cyber-attacked every day and they do not all hit the news. According to Accenture’s Cost of Cybercrime Study, 43% of attacks are aimed at small businesses, but only 14% are prepared to defend themselves. Another shocking statistic to consider is that there was a 424% increase in new small business cyber breaches last year.

Cyberattacks can be disastrous, but have you thought about ALL the possible disasters that are a threat to your company’s infrastructure and data? Other threats include natural calamities (hurricane, tornado, fire, flood), disruption due to power failure, employee negligence, employee sabotage, hardware failure.

Do you feel the panic creep in when thinking about a cyber-attack on your company?  Worrying about all of these threats can feel overwhelming, but at LTS we want to break it down and calm your fears.

Over the next few weeks we will be posting information about how to prepare for each possible disaster so stay tuned!
